Meet the Band “TIDES”! The band TIDES was originally formed by Robert Rankhorn, Justin Bernard, Marcos Moreno, Abel Moreno, and Roman Casillas. What brought them together was a shared experience of loss. Each member had endured the passing of someone deeply important in their lives, and music became their way of processing grief and finding purpose through creativity.

The band recorded two EPs with dreams of performing and sharing their music, but before those plans could become reality, tragedy struck. Their friend, bandmate, and founding member Robert Rankhorn passed away unexpectedly. His loss devastated everyone and left the future of TIDES uncertain.

For a time, it felt like the end. The music and vision they shared with Robert never left the members. Determined to honor his memory, they found new life through the addition of Gabe Garcia and Clay Reed, both formerly of “GATROT”. Their belief in what “TIDES” represented helped them rebuild and continue the journey they started together.

Today, TIDES consists of Gabe Garcia on guitar, Clay Reed on drums, Abel Moreno on bass and vocals, and Roman Casillas on vocals. Together, they recently recorded their self-titled EP at HOMEWRECKER Studios, carrying forward a sound shaped by loss, perseverance, friendship, and a deep love for music.
